Harrier Track Club, founded in 2009, is coached by father-son duo Jim & Joel Pearson. HTC is owned by Pearson's Athletic Club and was founded by Jim, a former American 50 mile record holder and World Qualifier. The club's original name, when began in 1975, was Freedom Flower Road Runners. The club has also been formally named Ferndale Track Club and Pearson's Distance Project. In the later days primarily dealt with youth and junior age athletes to help them succeed at the association, regional and national levels. Harrier Track Club evolved when a need for an Olympic Development Program for all ages, abilities and goals was recognized by the clubs board members. Enjoy!
